Why Nairn drivers choose Tyre-Tec
Nairn is a regular Tyre-Tec run. Twenty-five minutes along the A96 from our Inverness base and we're in the IV12 area — fitting tyres in driveways, harbour-side car parks and along the residential streets off Cawdor Road and King Street. No need for Nairn drivers to lose a morning at a fitting bay; we bring the bay to you.
Coastal driving is hard on rubber — salt-air corrosion on rims, kerb damage along narrow streets, and plenty of unsealed track work for the rural plots out toward Auldearn and Cawdor. We stock everything from premium Michelin and Continental down to budget all-season fits for second cars. Booking gives you a like-for-like price before we set off, so no surprises on the day.
Beyond routine fitting we cover emergency callouts across IV12. Flat outside Tesco, blowout on the A96, slow puncture in the school car park — call and we'll usually be with you in under the hour. Out-of-hours service runs alongside Mon–Sat hours for the times you need a tyre at 8pm.

Nairn FAQs
Common questions from Nairn drivers
How long until you reach me in Nairn?
About 25 minutes along the A96 from our Inverness base. Pre-booked fittings are scheduled to a slot; emergency callouts in Nairn typically reach you in under an hour.
Do you fit at homes along the A96 or out toward Cawdor?
Yes — anywhere within the IV12 postcode. Just give us the address when you book and we'll find you. We've fitted at homes from the harbour through to the village plots out by Auldearn.
Can you handle four-tyre swaps for SUVs and 4x4s?
Yes — the mobile workshop has the capacity and tooling for SUVs, light commercials and 4x4s. Larger rim sizes and run-flats are no problem.
How do I book?
Call 01463 248822 and we'll quote a fitted price for your reg and confirm a slot. Most Nairn bookings are same-day or next morning.
